4C-TV System
View or Edit Burst Plan
u Available from Programming Info Screen, the Burst Plan button gives access to visualize and edit a Program's Burst Plan.
u This window brings the list of Bursts planned for the corresponding Film, and allows one to include/remove bursts manually, independent of the system's automatic calculation.
u The screen shows Licensed Rights & Services and the corresponding play dates limit for the current Territory only (that value depends on the user profile set by the DBA).
u The Service List displays all the Services within the Territory with exhibition rights and shows the assigned Burst Plan Code and Planned Premiere date & time. Those values can be updated by double clicking on the Service line.
u The screen includes monthly totals for scheduled plays together with future bursts. Lines corresponding to months with scheduled plays appear in gray italics.
u Additional information is provided per Service and per individual Channel: total number of play dates and number of plays available (according to contract info). Those totals include scheduled plays and future bursts (not yet scheduled). Bursts corresponding to months where the Program is already scheduled are ignored (they appear in italics in the Burst display). The first and last play dates per Channel/Service are also shown.
u The Manual Burst Plan entry window now opens with the default channel set to the Program's Main Service, and a new pair of control buttons facilitates entering the burst date by incrementing/decrementing the month in the date field.
u The Recalc Burst button recalculates the Program's burst according to its defined Burst Plan Code and the burst plan templates in the system. This option can only be used if any of the licensed Services corresponds to a Channel with Auto Schedule option.
u This version now handles properly Burst Planning for programs in Contracts with the Jointly/Shared clause, where the number of licensed play dates applies jointly to all Services, but is indicated for the Main Service only.
u Direct access to the Manual Burst Plan entry screen is now provided from the Burst Planning spreadsheet.
u Full support of multiple channel bursts is included in this version, for manual burst plan entry. Multiple channel support for automatic burst planning to be available soon.
