Copy Disposition
u The Copy Disposition list allows the specification of information concerning the disposition of Program copies (versions) and other media.
u The Controlling Company for which the Copy Disposition parameters apply is selected from the popup on the top left corner. This allows the definition of different options for each Controlling Company and provides the ability to specify options for Controlling Companies with no Contract or Program Rights in the database (ex. basic channels).
Disposition Instructions
u This panel allows to configure the treatment given by the system to each specific Disposition code, when "executing" the disposition of Program Copies. For each disposition code, the following parameters can be configured:
Copy Shipping Receiving
u When a Program Copy is registered, the copy's version and material (copy usage) will determine the Job to be created automatically by the system. This will be determined by the association of version/material pair in the Copy Shipping/Receiving panel.
u When registering of Program copies, an associated Job will be created, whenever an AWB is indicated, or if any costs are indicated, or if the copy that is being created indicated that a Job must be created (according to the list above). The Job will be created with the specified JobService code . It will be marked as complete and will update the Status of the corresponding Program.
u If there are any Templates asociated to the Jobs being created, these will also be added to the database at the same time.
u This mechanism allows for example, that as a copy with Version="ORI" and Material="Original Master" is being registered, a Job "Master Shipment" be automatically created. The service "Master Shipment" has the status code "RO", therefore this code will be included to the Program's status. For this service there is a defined Template, that indicates the creation of a Job with service "Checking Order", and that will also be created automatically by the system.
u In that same way, other automatic procedures can be defined, providing the creation of a group of Jobs whenever a given set of copies is registered in the database.
u The "RCV" column specifies the number of days estimated for the execution of the Job created automatically.
u In all of the places where the estiamted time for the execution of a Job may be indicated (Copy Shipping/Receiving, Faulty Job Due Date; Job Template Due Date), the indicated value will be interpreted in the following manner:
u We remind you that the creation of subordinated Jobs happens automatically whenever a Job is completed (i.e. a filled out receiving date).
