u In the top left panel (Label Size per Format) one indicates the Label size to use for each media format. The list of possible label sizes is user defined.

 u In the bottom left panel (Label Design per Material) one indicates the Label design to use for each different material type. The list of possible label designs is also user defined.

 u The right panel (Label Configuration per Design/Size) specifies the options to use for each Label Design and Size combination. For example it is possible to use different label designs for Originals and Air Masters and in each case one can have distinct designs for Betacam Originals and VHS Originals.

• The Option column indicates which category of label layout to use, 4CTV internal layout or user defined layouts; user defined layouts allow single label design per media or dual designs (inside/cartridge and outside/box labels); user designed label layouts can be added to the system via the New Label button. The Edit Label button can be used to modify user-designed labels.
• The Report column indicates which 4CTV internal label layout to use. A popup is available with existing alternatives. 4CTV internal labels cannot be modified by end users, any changes to internal labels requires updates to the application.
• The Margin File field is also used for internal 4CTV labels and indicate the label margin file to be used. This file is user defined for adjustments to specific printers or label sizes.

 u The Request Labels button in the Media Library list will queue all the media records selected for label printing. Those media records without a defined label type will be queued for a "Default" label design.

 u Automatic Media Library reports are set up for each Library, and are generated only during operations from that Library. Automatic reports are generated only for the Libraries and actions set up in the configuration, and different reports can be set for each Library.

 u There are 3 possible report actions that can be configured:

• CheckOut : a report is generated whenever media is checked out from the Library; this can be for example a “media checkout slip”
• CheckIn : a report is generated whenever media is checked into the Library; this can be for example a “media checkin receipt”
• Transfer : a report is generated whenever media is transferred from the Library

 u The SysFun parameter indicates the SysFunctions ID of the associated report. The associated SysFunction must be of type SRP, that is, a Super Report definition.
