4C-TV System
u The Email Notification configuration screen can be accessed from the 4C-TV Configuration panel.
u 4C-TV includes functionality to automatically generate a Notification email upon occurrence of specific changes or events in the database.
u 4C-TV can generate notification email for the following events:
- Schedule Delete: when events are deleted from the Monthly schedule automatically by the system (ex. changes to a program's avail window).
- Schedule Change: when changes are made to the Monthly schedule for any month that is already closed.
- Daily Log Change: if changes are made to a Daily Log after the day's play list has been generated.
- Event Length Change: when changes occur to an scheduled event's length (ex: if an Original is received with a different length; or the Air Master has a different duration).
- Daily Log Event Length Change: if there is a length change on any event on a Daily Log after that day's play list has been generated (ex: if an new Air Master has a different duration; or a new Promo/Interstitial Air Master copy causes change in its length).
- Monthly Schedule Close: upon closing the Monthly Schedule for a given Channel/month.
- Avail Change: when a programs Avail Start date changes, but only if the program has a Burst plan or has already been scheduled (changes to the Avail Start for titles not yet scheduled and without bursts will not generate any email).
- Avail List Change: when changes are made to a Programs Avail List ID.
- Bad First Run: when a program is scheduled on a month/channel different from its first planned Burst (the programmer is alerted of this situation and is given the option to force schedule it and it is only in this situation that this notification email is generated).
u The Notification Email configuration screen is used to indicate different recipients for each event type and for each individual channel. If an entry exists for an event type without a channel indication, notification will be sent to that recipient when the event is raised for any channel, in addition to any recipient indicated for the channel.
u Multiple recipients can be indicated, with each email address separated by "," (comma).
u If no entry exists for an event type, no notification mail will be sent for that occurrence type.
u In any case a Log records is ALWAYS created to indicate the occurrence.
