u A file's Calendar configuration screen is basically the same as the one used for the Browse configuration.
u Much like the Browse, the fields to be exhibited can be selected on the Blue list, and dragged to the Green panel. The fields order can be adjusted directly on the Green panel (by drag & drop), and fields are eliminated from the calendar when dragged from the Green panel to the trash.
u The only restriction imposed on the Calendar's configuration is that the first field on the Green list be one of the date fields indexed from the file (the system does not allow that another type of field be defined as first on the list). This first field is used as a Calendar's Base Date, and the others identify the data to be exhibited for each record on the Calendar.
u On the Yellow panel, Calendar presentation characteristics can be specified:
- allow formatting of the first line of each record (header) and the others (detail). Font, size, style and colour can be specified. The style options are: 0=plain text, 1= bold, 2= italic, 3=bold&italic, 4=underlined, 5= bold&underlined,
u On the Gray panel a Calendar preview is presented, updated automatically when configuration parameters are changed.
